OUR STORY

Our Story

We are so excited to announce Goldie’s and The Roost, our new restaurant and bar in Coupeville.

Goldie’s and The Roost is a project from the folks behind some of your favorite Coupeville restaurants: Tyler of Little Red Hen Bakery and Sophia of The Oystercatcher. We’re joined by friends from two James Beard Award nominated Seattle restaurants — Seddy Livingston of Delancey, and Lauren Rittenour of Lark.

Let’s get right to the details you’re probably most curious about:

At Goldie’s, we serve pizza, pasta, and wood-fired vegetables.  We are open for lunch, dinner, and carryout. We hope to be your favorite place to bring the entire family for a casual dinner, or to enjoy a slice and a locally brewed beer with friends outside on a late summer afternoon or as a place to warm up and escape the rain.

Upstairs at The Roost we have a thoughtfully curated natural wine list and classic cocktails, all paired with the full food menu from downstairs at Goldie’s. The Roost stays open for late night food and drinks, serving until 10pm.

Continuing a pizza restaurant in the former Ciao space was an easy choice. The beautiful wood oven is the centerpiece of the kitchen. Seddy, our head chef, has been running two beloved pizza restaurants in Seattle for the past 6 years. Tyler, through his close relationship with Ebey Road Farm, is sourcing the grain for our pizza dough and pasta from just a few miles down the road. Much of the best produce from the island’s farms are featured prominently on our pizzas and in our wood oven.
